I Apply Zinc Pyrithione Shampoo on the Scalp during bath Time
and let it stand and soak through while i attend to Body areas.
When all finished i Scrub the Scalp Vigorously with a Nail Brash
before Rinsing and Drying.
I started this a long time back when my hair was sticky, matted
-no comb going through- and was falling in clamps.
Never had any Sticky, Matted Hair Since
No matter how much Malassezia Presence, Traffic, Spores etc
but i had to resort to some some very Drastic Solution
prior to bring about this manageable maintenance (*1)

Q1: * can i spray lysol on my scalp for yeast infection *
I avoid all Chemicals as best i can, so i have not tried it.
Google search results indicate it is a household Disinfectant
and as such even if it worked it would only be Temporarily
and Long term Use would be harmful to the Body overall.

A Long time Back as i mentioned above, my Scalp was on Fire
Itchy, Burning, with Sticky Matted Hair and Falling Off in Clamps.
I Remember the Distinctly Irresistible Urge to Pull Hair and Skin
and the Momentary Relief this action offered.
*
During Research i came upon a Trichillomania Related article
mentioning the Presence of Malassezia as a cause
among Other Serious Reasons for that Urge.
*
I had Never Experienced that Urge before
either Prior to – or Since Resolving the Malassezia Problem (*1)

It is Mobile
It Moves and Operates on and from
Scalp, Ears, Eyes, Eyelash Beds, Nostrils, Face etc.
It is Transferable
The Gritty Granules are Visible to the Naked Eye
and can Be easily Transferable.
It can be Transferable to and From
Combs, Hats, Clothing, Fingers and Finger Nails.
Scratch head … Rub eyes… etc.
Whether Transferability Results as
Infectious or Transient
Depends on Several Incidental Conditions
such as
* Landing on Fertile ground,
* Ability to Adhere and Develop
but most Importantly and decisively
* Individual’s State of Immunity
and consequently
whether as a Temporary Brief attack
Dealt with Swiftly by the Body
or Developing into a Chronic condition.
